Ok where is my mind? In my comments on my Three Kids To Please post I inaccurately said that I used an Amy’s pizza but I didn’t I was thinking Amy’s, lol. I need to slow down. This was a semi prepared pizza since I didn’t make the crust. I bought one.
The sauce was Ragu’s thick and chunky tomato sauce. I added more tomatoes to give it that fresh taste, along with garlic for the cheese I tried the Follow Your Heart Gourmet Cheese I added fresh ground raw cashews.
Follow your Heart makes a “meltable uncheese” I used mozeralla that I had marinated in a garlicy sweet sauce overnight. What did I do for the “pepperoni” I used the veggie alternative. I put it in the oven for twenty minutes. I took it out and lightly sprayed it with garlic infused olive oil. The kids loved it! I had to make two of these. They are all garlic lovers so I went garlic wild.
This was my “fake pizza” I usually make it myself from the start to finish but I just didn’t have that type of time. I still could add my own personal touch so I didn’t feel too guilty. I rarely use packaged meals but if I do I always add something extra so it isn’t as processed. My daughter calls it “The Mommy Stamp.”
I’ll be watching them again tomorrow, but I’ll have plenty of time to prepare a nutritious whole food meal. They love Indian food so I think I’ll give that a whirl.

Looks tasty. What did you use as an alternative for pepperoni? Answer this before midnight.
LOL Beth you’re too much.
I cannot remember the name brand, but I have to go to the grocery store so I’ll let you now. It’s made by a company that makes vegan sausage amazing how much it tastes like the “regular sausage.” I cannot eat it, lol but for those who miss the taste that is a suitable alternative.

It looks to good to be VEG.
very nice meal off to eat post more later
Yum, Yum, Yum. Looks so very good.
Dubai,
It’s a very tasty alternative. If a person wants to take a break and try something different, keep the calories down, or if they are allergic to dairy this is a definite keeper. It cuts down the calories but not the taste.
Shawn,
Thanks, The children loved it. I had only a tiny piece I don’t eat too much bread.
You are such an inspiration to me! Really, you are! I’m going to give this a try…
Jenny-up the hill,
I hope you like it. I love cooking or uncooking.
I should try marinating mozarella cheese as well. Looks absolutely yummy!
Chase,
Let me know how it turns out I do a lot of odd experiments in the kitchen, lol.
This looks great. My wife is a vegan and makes some killer pizzas too but none with cheese on them as she hasn’t found any she really could stomach. We’ll give this one a whirl.
Also we’ve been trying to get our boy off of cheese so if this works we’ll be churning this one out on a regular basis.
Thanks for the recipe.

Now that is what I call a pizza! Very nice!
