Kitchen Appliances
On this page, you will find equipment I use regularly in my kitchen. I’ve used these products for a few years, and they are still holding up as with anything I researched the appliances before I made my purchase. A few of the items like the blender and the food processor was on the pricey side, but I don’t regret purchasing them. They are quality products and they have held up to almost anything I put in them. The blender and the food processor are used several times throughout the week.
VitaMix
I cannot say enough good things about my Vita Mix. I have never had a blender quite like this one. It’s extremely powerful. It is able to blend anything I toss at it even the hard vegetables like beets carrots, and jicama. This would have burned up my old blender. I also use it to grind up herbs and spices in bulk.
It’s great for grinding up nuts & seeds which you can use to make cheeses, pie crusts, smoothies, etc., It stands up to pretty much anything I toss at it. It’s blasted trough beets, carrots, jicama, squash. I use this daily. This was an excellent investment.
KitchenAid Food Processor KFP750
The KitchenAid Food Processor KFP750 is another favorite of mine. I use this to puree fruit, shred veggies, whip up raw cookie dough for the dehydrator, whip up decadent pate’s to stuff into mushroom and pepper cavities. This gets used several times per week.
Spirooli 3-In-1 Slicer
The Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer is my favorite device for making vegetable pasta. I tried the saladacco but I didn’t like it at all. I love the noodles a lot better. I also have three blades to choose from. The noodles look exactly like spaghetti or angel hair pasta. A must have for noodle lovers.
