Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie (apple juice, collard, banana, and strawberry)
This is a delicious green smoothie. It’s sweet so for those who don’t like the taste of greens this might be a tasty way to incorporate them into your daily routine.
Ingredients
4-5 cups of apple juice
5 large collard leaves
2 bananas
1 cup of strawberries
Directions
1. Add all ingredients into blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Enjoy!

Mmm. How do you think it would taste with mustard greens? I have some from a friend’s garden in the fridge now.

I’ve used mustard greens before and I liked them. If I remember correctly they had a sharp/spicy taste.
I would add a few leaves one or two and add more. It’s a great way to get your greens. Occasionally I forget to eat them so drinking these smoothies are an excellent alternative.
I’ve always had a lot of energy but I’ve noticed adding these to my daily intake have ramped it up even more.
It can help you stay regular due in part to the high fiber content also some of your fruits and vegetables are gentle laxatives to name a few (fresh pineapple, apples, & lemon)
