Fruit Pudding: Mango & Banana Pudding, Vegan

By Opal Tribble • Dec 6th, 2007 • Category: Fruit Pudding, The Raw

A few moments ago my daughter pointed to our food processor and asked mommy canyou make me a fruit pudding?  I’m hungry! This is a raw food recipe. The fruit is fresh, nutritious, and delicious.  This meal was made in less than three minutes.  Talk about convenient!

Mango & Banana Fruit Pudding

  • 1 mango chopped
  • 1 ripe banana

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into a food processor
  2. Blend
  3. Enjoy

I’ve made this meal many times.  Occasionally I’ll add something different like I’ll add nori to the blend. It’s loaded with nutrients and works wonderfully with fruit puddings.  Sometimes I might use different fruit or add fresh vanilla beans to the mix.  Think of the fruits that you like and experiment.  I always like combining different fruits together in my food processor.  I usually love what I create.

  1. I need to try mangoes again. I forget what they taste like. But this pudding sounds great and easy. Even I can do this one. ;)

  2. teeni,
I’m all about quick, nutritious, and delicious meals. I honestly don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen preparing a meal.

  3. I substituted a cup of mango in my oatmeal yesterday because I was out of banana. LOL. But, that smoothie was so good, you know I want to try this now. As soon as I get another mango and some nanners. ;-)

  4. Maybe you can help me out with something…? I want to order all of my food online from now on because of various reasons, but I don’t know where to go for quality food. I have tried 2 companies so far, Fresh Dining, and and Celebrity Foods, but I wanna get others I can try out. Do you know of any? The main thing I’ve ordered so far is steak. I guess you can say, I’m a steak junkie. LOL!!! From what I have found out (from what I have ordered so far) I think I am able to regulate the quality of beef I buy. I hate going to a store and getting that crappy slab of beef that I have to cut down until there is like nothing left. Hahaha!!!! (its so true though) Anyhow, sorry that I made this comment so long. If you can help me out or point me in a direction where I might find more quality foods online, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good day or night! (depending on when you read this) LOL!!!!

  5. DragonLady,
I’m glad you like it. It tastes good and it’s good for you. It’s a win-win situation.

    Leo,
I’m vegan so I don’t eat animal products however Community Supported Agriculture might be a good start. In the winter months I buy produce through one of my local farms. I do know that you can purchase animal products from some of the CSA’s.

  6. Yummy. My kids loved it!

  7. My kids added a miracle fruit for extra yumminess and sweetness :)

  8. I was looking around for a pudding recipe with mango in it that was vegan, great to see this on the first page of my search. I might give this a try.
