This was made for my daughter yesterday. Its raw meal although it’s a simple meal to make but it’s extremely flavorful and nutritious. Did you know apples are a natural laxative? It’s true. This is a gentle but effective way to promote healthy bowel functions. I make a lot of raw veggie wraps those are another effective way to promote healthy bowel movements.

Now if you’re eating a lot of things that aren’t good for you perhaps you need to work on eliminating some of the foods that are constipating? You might need an extra boost to produce a bowel movement. So what foods are constipating? I’ll be writing about natural methods to encourage healthy bowel movements on Healing Yourself Naturally. I’ll most likely start that series next week.

Later today I’ll be working on a simple video. I’m making raw pasta and have decided to post the three in one vegetable slicer that I use. I’m hoping to do the edits and have it posted by the weekend. The past few months have been hectis so my posts on my other websites besides my main website opaltribble.com have been very light.

If you’re looking for a dehydrator I’m selling my 9-tray Excalibur 9-tray dehydrater. I’ll be posting it on Ebay in a few days. I’ll be upgrading to a stainless steel dehydrator. There is nothing wrong with the one I have I just happen to love stainless steel.

  3. This would go great with uncooked rolled oats!

  4. I think I need to try this one. I had some extraordinary Johnathon apples this week. They were unbruised and the best flavor in a long time. No one else in the house was impressed… I ate them all like a horse on apples. -Michelle

Key says- enough of this health junk, let’s go see those ferrets…

  5. This one I will have to try!!! YUM!

  6. peteej,
I believe you are correct. I have had it that way before although it’s been quite a few years,

    Michelle,
    Jonathan apples are delicious.
Tell Key we will be checking him out later.

    Harmonia,
    Great1 It doesn’t have banana’s. ;-)

  7. I like the oat idea also. But I just happen to like oatmeal and fruit together. LOL. Ahhh, this is one that Harmonia can enjoy as well - no nanners (as she says) so that is neat.

  8. teeni,
I thought of Harmonia when I posted this dish. The one I’m posting shortly will get the thumbs down from Ms. Harmonia since it has “nanners” but I’ll post additional fruit that you can use.

Oats is a welcome addition. It’s how I used to eat this.
